Where we are...
Vermont's Northeast Kingdom is located in New England, in the northeastern region of Vermont state. Vermont's Northeast Kingdom is about 7 hours from New York City and four hours from Boston.

Directions for Getting Here
Vermont's Northeast Kingdom is in the northern portion of New England, just south of Canada, west of New Hampshire and east of New York State. Most people arrive by automobile via an excellent interstate highway. We always say "the farther you go, the closer you'll get to heaven".
From the Mid-Atlantic States
Take Interstate Rte 95 (North) to New Haven, CT. Take Interstate Rte 91 (North) from New Haven, CT into Vermont and the Northeast Kingdom.
From Boston and Southern New England
Take Interstate 93 North from Boston. Interstate 93 ends at Interstate 91 in the southern gateway to Vermont's Northeast Kingdom.
By Air
We have two major commercial airports that are convenient to the Northeast Kingdom. The first is Montreal, Quebec, Canada and is almost a 2 hours drive from the center of the Kingdom. May airlines offer excellent international rates from US cities to Montreal.
The other airport and the most widely used to get here is in Burlington, VT. Burlington airport is about 1 1/2 hours from the center of the Kingdom.
Rental cars are available at both airports.
The Kingdom also has three smaller, 'light plane' airports located in Island Pond, Lyndonville and Newport.
